Jo is a first-generation Filipina Mexican-American from Los Angeles, CA. She developed a passion for visual media in her youth, capturing photos and videos of marine wildlife for a local aquarium. Now based in Portland, OR, she continues to work in video production and emerging media, committed to amplifying the voices and stories of marginalized communities.
